Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Talaeah is considered one of the most studious dragons in her clan. She knows everything about the earth that she resides in and the sky that she soars through. When Talaeah was a hatchling she was apprenticed to a mentor just as she is now a mentor. After her mentor had taught her everything that he could he left. Leaving his little apprentice inexperienced and scared all alone in her big clan. Of course the other dragons were friendly but not at all smart compared to that little hatchling they were all as witless as chickens. As she aged and matured she began to realize that she knew little of life and that the dragons around her did, leaving her scared that her knowledge was old and useless. This is when she decided on an apprentice vowing to teach her student grace and good nature.  She would always continue learning. Talaeah is very hard to dissuade from her decisions and will always continue to try and better life as it is known.
