Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It can fit right in your palm.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Cheeche hates her small size. She envies greatly the other, larger frozen hatchlings such as Rubinte, Alkari, Egiizz and Orpaah. It is very difficult for her to keep up with her friends because of her size and at times, her situation frustrates her so much that she plays by herself or with her adoptive parents, Tzanko and Umayi. But when her frustration hasn't gotten the better of her, she is a sweet, energetic little dragon with a lot of attitude.
