Waterhorse Dragons received their name due to their horse-like physique and endearing behavior. They are capable of surviving out of water, and when on land their skin secretes a gelatinous goo to retain moisture. However, their large paddle feet are better suited for swimming, and waterhorse dragons tend to move very awkwardly when on land. Waterhorses are very friendly dragons and enjoy playing with humans.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Aqua Delta was one of the dragons who avoided the infected dragons. One of the dragons, named Statue Delta, caught Aqua's attention. He made sure to stay as far away as possible from her. Even though Statue was proven negative by their human, Aqua still had some suspicions. One day, their human proposed a mating proposal between the two, which shocked the two dragons. Although Statue accepted, Aqua rejected it completely. With her heart shattered, Statue ran far away from the cave, leaving Aqua to face their human's temper. The next day, a few of the Delta dragons spotted Statue crying silently behind a large rock in the cave, which was camouflaging her. They reported back to their human, who gave Aqua a death glare. Aqua, feeling scared and also guilty, went to where Statue was hiding. He apologized and said that he'd accept the proposal if she would stop crying. And so the two dragons became eternal mates. Aqua Delta is a born member of the Delta Clan.
