Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The Autumn's Equinox is one of the four season's leader, he is pretty much the king of Autumn dragons. But when the peace was broken the other seasons royalty went into hiding which are, The Spring Equinox King, Winter's Solstice Queen, and Summer's Solstice. The Autumn's Equinox would not go into hiding and rebelled, which soon proved to be a big mistake. He took his fleet of Autumn Dragons to the castle of the red dragon. They heard a beautiful song, everyone one except for The Autumn's Equinox fell into a deep sleep. The red dragon appeared over the horizon with an army and defeated The Autumn's Equinox to the point of death then left him to die in the wilderness, while they kidnapped his fleet. Nightly Songs found him and cared for him The Autumn's Equinox soon became part of the clan. While regaining his strength Nightly Songs and him plan a rebellion to save his fleet...and the world.
