Black Tea Dragons have small scent glands on the underside of their wing arm that release a pleasant scent. Though many creatures enjoy being in the vicinity of Black Tea dragons, the scent is intended to draw in swarms of butterflies. Though Black Tea dragons are full sized dragons, these insects are the mainstay of their diet.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Teachase came to the Weyr of Flame with his family quite some time after the Great War had been all but resolved. Though a bit dull, Teachase is an excellent, nurturing father to his three hatchlings, keeping their family cave clean and tidy for when his mate, Smellsong, returns from her forays about the Weyr territory. He's heard stories about the Old Featherwing Weyr, about the immortal human who used to be charged with the care of the hatchlings and eggs, and though the stories fascinate him, he brushes them off as mere myth. He'd never tell Smellsong, though, being too kind to tell his curious, knowledge-seeking mate that surely no such thing as a human ever really existed, certainly not among dragons.

Teachase, when not caring for his home and family, busies himself with gossiping and chatting with the other dragons, leading a happy life in the new home they've found.
