Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Megara Skycloud is very kind and gentle and many males have already fallen in love with her, but she turned them all down as she strongly believed in love at first sight and she simply hadn't felt that connection yet... until she met Skydd.<br/>It was by accident that the two dragons met each other. Skydd, who was under the impression that he was alone soared through the sky in a way only the most skilled of his kind could handle. Megara spotted him and was immediately impressed by his flying skills. As soon as she showed herself, Skydd tried to hide behind a cloud, as he was too shy to show himself to what in his eyes was the most beautiful female dragon he had ever seen, but soon Megara's gentle side convinced him that she was more impressed by him than he seemed to be impressed by her beauty. Nowadays, they are almost always seen together and even the most jealous dragon can not hide a smile when he sees them.
