Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Monadh is in love. It is no pretty dragoness that arouses this feeling but... a range of mountains. Some may wonder why a slab of rock is exciting, but to Monadh there is nothing more wonderful in the world. He loves soaring on the western gales that crash into and swirl around the mountains. He can wait for hours to see the rising sun slowly creep over the tops to let her rays fall in the valley below. He can often be found exploring natural caverns or clawing out new tunnels to add to his lair. He and his brother Miorbhuil are the clan's main tunnellers, extending their labyrinth of caverns and tunnels when the ever-expanding family has outgrown their den.
