Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Mahiole, like all of the tribe's silver dragons, lives on the island of Molehu. She received her name like all other silvers: as a hatchling, her looks, personality, and actions were inspected by the elders and then summed up in a word in Hawaiian. For her, it was Mahiole. Her name means "feather helmet". This is probably due to the fact that her fringe running down her back looks a lot more like feathers than fur, and on her head it grows wild. Mahiole is not proud of her name, she was teased when she was a hatchling because of her condition, but she is not ashamed of it either. She helps alleviate the teasing nowadays by braiding pretty shells and wooden beads into her head and tail fringe. Hatchlings have even begun to mimic Mahiole's style by dreadlocking their fringe, making Mahiole very happy and the hatchlings' parents very angry.
