Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. It's quite unfortunate that everyone says this dragon's name wrong. The dragon has told them over and over--"It's not Jo-Anes, it's Jones, can't you guys get this right!"--but everyone says that he is the one saying it wrong. The poor guy is always being humiliated because of his name.
