Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. A cheerful, upbeat dragon, Deck the Halls is known as 'Lil Shinies' to her friends due to her fondness for such things. She loves all beautiful things, but has a special fondness for little bright things with no purpose beyond decoration or art. She collects iridescent, brilliantly-colored, and other eye-catching objects, especially glass art and jeweled sculpture. To Snowbauble, beauty is her purpose. Not so much being beautiful herself, though she is, but creating, recognizing, nurturing, and when needed, defending it. For obvious reasons, she's popular, especially with male dragons. Since love and new life are beautiful, she rarely turns one down. She's no fool, though, and isn't blind to the ugly or dangerous parts of the world. Naivity and innocence are luxuries she knows she can't indulge if she wants to make a real difference in the world. She glows in the snow with the strength of her open-minded realistic view of life, not with the weak light of a sheltered greenhouse flower.
