Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, larger in males, aiding both in digging up food and protection when fighting for mates. Males are duller in color than females due to their habit of wandering from nest to nest and picking from less algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Living with a bunch of Falconiforms can definitely be stressful, but Pretty has adapted rather well for being in such a situation. As a hatchling, he was absolutely terrified of his older, Falconiform siblings, especially since a few of them were very aggressive for their breed. Growing up, he learned to act a certain way around them: keep quiet and pretend like they weren't there. The same went for his parents. His father, Blistering, had no idea how to raise Pretty and was scared he'd mess up somehow if he tried. His mother, Crepe, meanwhile, couldn't care less about him or any of her offspring really. So, Pretty has mostly lived in isolation. Like his Falconiform siblings, Pretty is rather irritable and rude. He has a snarky sense of humor and doesn't care at all if he happens to offend someone. He doesn't care to make friends or be social, he just wants to remain in the background where no one can hurt him. That said, if he ever is confronted, he is a capable physical brawler.
