Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Staccato is an incredibly talented singer. Ever since his youth, he has possessed this innate talent for singing operatic pieces that are stunning to say the least. He is an avid performer for the sanctuary, and his shows always draw huge crowds. However, with great fame comes great superiority complexes, and Staccato has a truly awful one. He has become so jaded to his own fame and fortune, so he looks down on everyone around him, even his own fans. He cares little for those around him and only really sees them as means to increase his influence or power. He doesn't necessarily aggress anyone. Typically, he doesn't even talk to anyone and completely ignores anybody who tries to engage with him. He'll only really acknowledge someone if they either pose a threat to him or if he finds some vague interest in them. Not that anyone's missing anything by not talking to him. The conversations with him are pretty unbearably demeaning.
