Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Midori is the grumpiest dragon of the entire group. She hates to be bothered and would rather be alone than in the group. Most of the dragons think of her as rude, sarcastic, and mean. Really, she feels alone and unwanted. In the past, the other hatchlings never allowed her to join in any little games they made up and was always the last one to eat. The only friend that she ever had was a geode hatchling who died before he matured. Now, Midori has a forever broken-heart and a gloomy attitude.
