Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

GlitterQueenBrilliance is a Silver Tinsel Dragon and a bit stuck up. She thinks that she is the perfect Tinsel, but it is obvious to everyone else that she isn't really a good example of the Tinsel species. Her lineage is certainly well known in her cave, but she isn't really part of the high society where the famous royal Tinsel are. That she is greatly outclassed really drives GlitterQueenBrilliance crazy. She wants to be super rich and extremely famous, and she never, ever will be. GlitterQueenBrilliance still thinks that most other dragons in her cave are below her. Her few friends are the "in" crowd of their cave. GlitterQueenBrilliance thinks she herself the leader of this little group, but all of the other dragons disagree.
