Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Eloric has quite a way with words. Or thoughts, rather. He could charm a raging bull into a lamb-like state. Which is quite a feat all on it's own, since his face is horribly mutated. His egg had soft-shell for the majority of it's days while waiting to hatch, and had been accidentally tossed by another dragon's tail. As a result, Eloric gained life-time deformities. Though his mind is a beautiful place. A presence of peace and happiness reigns over his mind and any who share his thoughts, have the feeling wash over them as well. As a result, the cave has grown to love and value him. Before, he was timid and shy to come out of the shadows from where he sleeps, though because of one vine dragon's compassion, he's found the courage and strength to walk around like the other dragons do, with his head held high and a confident smile on his maw. His story has inspired all those who know him that despite their weaknesses, they could be the most glorified dragon in the cave.
