Well, the chick grew up into a chicken, but you’re still not sure how the egg got into that cave...

Kakin was the most recent chicken find her way to the cave, and the dragons sometimes wonder just why the birds find comfort and security in the presence of such large, fierce predators.  Undaunted by her draconian neighbors, Kakin spends her days doing as chickens will do, pecking up whatever food she can find, and stealing nesting material from Peeps.  Although she has no offspring herself, she occasionally likes to sit on the dragons' eggs.  It is unknown what benefit, if any, this provides to the hatchling growing inside.
