Nebula Dragons are nocturnal creatures. With the best eyesight to be found, they are often seen staring into space. Each dragon tends to observe a particular nebula and will eventually change their colors and patterns to match it. As the nebula changes over time, the dragon changes with it. The more intricate the design of the nebula, the better chance an individual has of attracting a mate. It is said that the markings on no two Nebula Dragons will be exactly the same.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Astoamos is a well-known writer, famous for his lengthy novels. They always involve high amounts of mystery, lots of action, enough drama to keep readers turning pages until well after dawn, some sort of steamy yet well-handeed romance, and a terribly sad ending. If the novel has Astoamos' name stamped on the cover, one can expect to spend many hours sobbing after the words "The End." But readers keep coming back, and his books sell all across Valkemare. There isn't a single dragon who hasn't read his beautifully depressing "The Fault in Our Destinies" or his equally heart-wrenching "Fifty Shades of the Rainbow."

Though he enjoys writing and even more so the profits he receives, he often wishes he were capable of writing a more friendly story -- one with a protagonist that doesn't end up getting their heart crushed, and the reader along with them. But comedy never sells -- not his, anyway. Which is probably for the best as his idea of a good joke is puns about mathematics.
