Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. FyreScraper usually only wakes up in the evening. This would be entirely true if his childhood friend Teakalp stopped waking him up in the afternoon to play. Once he's awake FyreScraper can't get back to sleep so he has no choice but to join the Ochredrake. During one of his expeditions he had strayed too far into a snowy region of the province. He had become lost for a decent amount of time in a blizzard, during this time he had a near fatal encounter with the legendary Ice dragon. She was aggressive, chasing him from her territory, back to where he came from. Despite her fierce deposition, FyreScraper had become quite fascinated with the Ice.
