Setsong Dragons wake with the setting of the sun. They can be found hunting during the night, only to vanish into their lairs once the sun begins to rise. Their glossy feathers and scales are a deep purple, but the evening sunlight reflects off of their bodies in a beautiful red-gold shimmer. Setsongs are reclusive dragons, found alone or in small groups, and are fiercely territorial--and loyal, protecting their hatchlings and group just as stubbornly as their hunting grounds. These dragons have a respectable ability to weave magic, but only once the sun has started to set: the daylight weakens their magical powers, and their spells are most potent at night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

When a pandemic swept the land, the post service was desperately looking for new staff, even offering to hire dragons instead of humans. Posta was quick to jump at the opportunity, negotiating free postage for all her mail instead of a salary. The post office in Finloch may have slightly underestimated how much mail a dragon—and this one in particular—actually sends. No backtracking on deals with dragons, though. Too many teeth.

Posta loves letters. Writing letters, reading letters, all of it. She is obsessed with sending colorful pictures of the local scenery to people all over Valkemare, and is the number one customer of the book shop in Finloch with all the paper and parchment she buys. Not even because she actually uses it, no. Where other dragons hoard gold, Posta hoards writing paper. Thick quality paper, centuries old parchment, fanciful designs and perfumed notes, she has a stash of everything in her cave. Untarnished by use, safe and treasured, but slightly dusty.
