Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This dragon was supposed to have been one of the last lines of the Frozen-Whiptail-poetry-army that portrays the poem "The Oliphaunt" by famous writer of fantasy works. Sadly for her something went wrong and she grew up. This saddened her greatly as she really wanted to join the little poetry hatchlings. To comfort her, the clan human made her into the title of the poem, a most important position. Now she looks after the other hatchlings. Her primary task is making sure they don't get lost or mixed up, as that would ruin the effect of the poem.
