Olive Dragons are a small, forest-dwelling breed, rarely growing much larger than the average sheep. When alarmed, they can erect a long row of venomous spines on their back, serving to warn any potential predators that Olives are not a good choice for a meal. While not strong enough to kill anything larger than a small deer, their venom causes an extremely painful reaction and necrosis at the bite site, sometimes causing the flesh to rot and limbs to fall off.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Matt's current name was given to him by one of the older dragons of the cave when he was only a hatchling. From then on, everyone addressed him by that. It did not take a genius to figure out "Matt the Landlord" was not his actual name, but more of a nickname. However, no dragon remembers what he is actually called. There have been speculations going around the cave about Matt having forgotten his actual name though he simply denies it and leaves immediately afterwards, not attending to any questions raised by the other dragons.

Matt's name derived from his behaviour ever since he was a hatchling-- leaving his nest alone for months and when other dragons decide to reside there, he comes back barking at the dragons to "pay up or get kicked out". Afraid of his venomous spines, most dragons never set a toe into his nest again after their encounter. So far, no dragon actually "paid up" and Matt is content as long as his nest is left undisturbed.
