This breed of dragon was thought to exist only in legend. Although their name varies between cultures, they are often referred to as “Guardians of Nature.” They are able to channel the forces of fire, ice and lightning, which allows them to wield tremendous power. Seen very rarely, it is thought that they only become active when something is threatening the territory they have chosen to guard. In order to protect their chosen home, these dragons are incredibly adaptable; they have been seen everywhere from remote mountain ranges, to ancient forests, to the darkest depths of the ocean.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Miiryym was a very lonely dragon and her main aspiration was to finally fly again in the blue sky. She was cynical of people that promised to help her, as she had seen too many fail in her long existence. In life, Miirym loved green growing things and enjoyed jokes. Her sanity was not strong, however, and if someone tried to trick or ambush her she unleashed all her fury upon them.

Miirym passed her endless days patrolling the tunnels and passages under Runesten, searching for possible intruders. She desperately wanted to chat with someone, and when she met intruders she first tried speaking to them in order to understand their intentions. She always wanted to know what was happening in the world. However, if visitors had books with them, she insisted that they give the books to her so she could put in their "rightful" place in Runestenin. In her mind all books belonged to Runesten. Sometimes, as an especially cruel and unusual punishment, a monk was sent to spent some time with Miirym.
