Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The granddaughter of an Elder, certain things are expected of Rive. Most of those things she fits to a T. She's refined, polite, funny, charming, and highly artistic. But everyone has demons and Rive's will keep her from fitting that golden image her parents have of her.

She fools near everyone. Her claws retracted and her words sugarcoated. Her father's ability to inspire hemophilia passed to Rive in a smaller dose. Anyone she attacks stays hurt longer than natural. So she avoids using physical violence to harm anyone.

But watch your back; deep down, she's malicious. She'd sell out her own mother for a goal she felt was worthy. Shes impossible to detect in wrongdoing. All the blame always gets put on Creorluna or accident. While Rive doesn't hurt anyone with her claws, she isn't above burning them. Literally. She's a pyromaniac.

Worst of all, despite her high birth, she has been in contact with Versa, queen of Creorluna. Versa tapped into her selfish lust for power, Rive's fatal flaw.
