Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

In order to get Vesta to finally hatch, he had to be placed in a fire so hot it turned the stones a glowing red-orange. The egg sizzled and popped, until finally the shell burst into a million little pieces and the little red dragon crawled out. From that day on he was called Vesta Fireborn.
Despite his vicious and intimidating outward appearance, Vesta grew up to be a very peaceful and considerate dragon. He exuded so much tranquility and serenity that he attracted his mate, Miribeth-Rose, one of the most peaceful dragons of all times, the illustrious mint dragon. They travel the lands together, and while Miribeth teaches others the way of pacifism, Vesta stands guard and protects her when the need calls for it.
Since Miribeth and Vesta travel so extensively, and though it grieves them very much, they have had to abandon their children into the hands of others in the hopes that they will be taken care of as their parents were.
