Spotted Greenwings are relatively small nocturnal dragons. Easily recognizable by the fleshy appendages growing off of their head and rump, they are most commonly seen in forests at night, leaping and soaring from tree to tree. While generally social, spotted greenwings are very quiet and rarely make any sort of vocalization. Their bodies are unusually warm to the touch, though they are unable to breathe fire. Greenwings are voracious feeders and will consume nearly any living thing that they can fit in their mouths.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A long time ago, an unnamed hatchling laid half-awake upon the cool stone floor of a giant cave carved into the side of the mountain ages ago.  He tilted his head to listen to the sounds of birds singing in their strange voices and the breathing of three other hatchlings he shared the cave with.  A gentle wind picked up, sending its soft whisper against the green and black dragon's hide.  Just then, little dots of green glowing specks appeared everywhere—the floor, the ceiling, the walls—as the clouds shifted aside to let sunlight down to the earth, incidentally landing upon the hatchling's scales and making them dance and shimmer.  He chased his own sparks about as the human caretaker watched with amusement, before calling him over.

The name has followed him ever since; Green Spark Chaser. As a full grown dragon he wears it with fondness.
