Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

While her primary concern was the finding and hunting of meat, every now and then this dragon got a little time to "chill"—and that, of course, meant it was time to make decorations! A blizzard of her breath made the interior of her cave sparkle, set new icicles on the entryway, and made her lovely frozen mirror all the more, uh, frozen. Still, as impressive as all these marvels were, the dragon considers her greatest work to be herself. Making ample use of her body's ability to maintain freezing temperatures, she often adds accessories such as spines, blades, and icy latticework to her skin--sometimes just to look her best, sometimes (as with the now notorious Ax Elbows) to help her hunt!
