Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Unlike the other hatchlings, this one hatched with wings.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

"If she is the doctor," this hatchling often says, "THEN I MUST BE THE PILL." Nobody can figure out what he means by this, though everyone would rather just avoid him, as he often tries to dive into other dragons' mouths and down their throats. As far as they are concerned, this hatchling is a dangerous menace, a disturbance of public peace, and, worst of all, a choking hazard—to hatchlings under the age of four days. However, there have been a very brave few who have tried to approach this dragon (with their mouths firmly closed, of course) to find out who this "doctor" is, why he keeps saying that, and why he keeps trying to stuff himself into his fellow clanmates' digestive tracts. So far, they haven't figured out anything much, though they do suspect that this "doctor" is really his mother, who lives in a far off land. Plans are being made to contact her and ask her to cure her son of his disease, which is really ironic because the disease causes him to pretend to be a medicine.
