Candelabra Dragons are a spectacular sight against the dark midnight sky. The glowing orbs that decorate their golden wings can be seen from far away and give them the unparalleled brilliance they are recognizable for. Proudly earnest, Candelabra Dragons will often go to extreme lengths to protect those close to them, even giving their lives to rescue a loved one from peril. However, they do not take lightly the breaking of a promise, and have been known to unleash a furious wrath when betrayed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Tsumasaki was never particularly graceful on her feet, but decided to take matters into her own claws. When she was old enough to fly, she asked the clan elders if she could provide mood lighting for some of the family's nightly host gatherings. She was given a route to follow when leading guests between banquet spaces, and practiced adjusting her wing lights as she flies. She hopes one day to have a courtship dance that will be impressive enough to ensure that no one will remember her as the clumsy hatchling she started off as.
