Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Her name means "Albino" in Japanese. She is a daughter of Hajime and Etsuko, and is her parents' pride and joy. As a hatchling, she was her mother's little mini-me, going wherever her mom did, and trying her best to act like her. Since her mother is an Albino dragon as well, it never really bothered Arubino that she couldn't really stay in the sun, or that she wasn't colorful like the other dragons. She is a very talented dragon, and loves to fly and dance in the moonlight. She is also a great singer, beguiling the colony with haunting songs once the sun has set. She is mated to Hakukakotai, and it was love at first sight. Arubino had never seen another Albino dragon beside herself and her mother, so she was thrilled to find Hakukakotai. She found him very handsome, and soon learned how wonderful he is. They love each other so much, and they always will.
