Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This seasonal dragon, nicknamed Wuse, has had a blissful childhood. He had many friends who were kind and fun to play with, and they didn't judge each other and just cared about having a good time. They chased each other off cliffs, swam through fallen leaves, talked, pretended to be storybook characters, played games, picked on tinier hatchlings and defended each other from older ones. Wuse has listened to many songs in his childhood, and re-hearing them brings back the memories. So does the season of autumn.  His life is stressful and tragic, and he's lost all of those friends.  Whenever he's at the point of bursting into tears and rage, he will calm down by thinking of his memories, letting them give him nostalgia and hypnotize himself into relaxation. Whenever he is ecstatic, he savors the emotion and slows down a bit, and although he looks sad when doing so, it's actually his happiest state. He is a sleepy dragon and can sleep for months at a time!
