Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Thoirnith is a proud dragon. He regards himself as better than the other colors simply because he is a black. As a result of this he is a bit of a show off and considers himself quite the 'ladies' dragon. Thoirnith never panics around in any given situation. His cool demeanor is rarely shaken by the events around him no matter how loud or energetic other dragons may become Thoirnith is always the calm, aloof one.

Although his attitude might make him a bit unpopular with the other dragons, it also ensures he has a clear head come time to make decisions. Thoirnith is a natural leader. Usually calm and level-headed during battle he is a vicious dragon. He will not start the fights; however when he is attacked no opponent is safe from his wrath. He is not without mercy, giving a defeated foe a chance to surrender before he kills them.

Thoirnith's name is based on the Gaelic word for Storm—'Thoirn'.
