Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Song of Heat and Clockwork is one of the four dragons that call themselves the Beta Lands. His land, contrary to the other ones, is one of deathly heat and the gears of clockwork anarchy spinning. A land where a young boy has to get over everything he believes makes him "cool" and accept the others the way they are.

When he sings his song, it's not a smooth song like the others. His song is harsh, gnashing on the ears and mind, radiating pure anarchy and the emotions that somebody would feel when they're trapped inside a burning house.

It's not a nice song, but other dragons are still drawn to it. They don't know why, of course. It's the agony that anybody could hear inside it, probably. At least, that's what they say it is.

Song of Heat and Clockwork doesn't say anything about it; he'll just smile mysteriously and disappear for months, years, until he comes out of the woods in a blinding light and plays another song.
