Guardian Dragons have large shields on the end of their tails. Although the shields appear to be heavy, they are light, yet nearly unbreakable. Guardian Dragons use their tail-shields, as well as their wings, to deflect attacks and protect others. Often, they will guard the eggs and hatchlings of a nest while others are away. They are generally peaceful, and will not retaliate unless necessary. They have no need to forage or hunt, as they are fed by those they protect.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Guardiaa is the oldest in this group. She will usually be found staying near the hatchlings, watching for any threats. To her, the young hatchlings are like brothers and sisters. She mainly will attack with her claws, using her wings and tail for defense. If anyone has done anything wrong to her master or her adopted siblings, she will not forgive them easily. That is if she is willing to forgive them at all.

She is the alpha-female of the group as well as mate to the alpha-male, Drakt. Recently the two alphas mated and produced a single egg. They are hoping that their child lives to see adulthood. Guardiaa is now usually found staying near her first egg while Drakt takes her spot and watches for any threats.

She dislikes Aearthao because he is constantly killing the eggs before they have a chance to hatch. There used to be 4 new eggs that were going to hatch soon, but Aearthao caused an earthquake and killing 3 out of the 4 eggs.
