Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. This hatchling seems to be filled with a fell, inner flame.

And look! Its wings have grown, and it’s become rather vicious and wary of others of its kind.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

He lurks silently in the nooks between trees on paths, in the cave and piles of rocks, waiting to attack...feet. He will jump squawking out of his hiding places to assail even the largest enemy's toes. He seems to have a vendetta against these digits, going to great lengths to sink his little fangs into them. It is not unusual to see a member of Payne's Horde limping, small red cuts on their feet and toes. He met his greatest foe in Obsidion's toes, which are impenetrable by his little baby fangs. He has yet to attack Slumber's toes, though that is expected. He also leaves Hakkar's toes alone, being fascinated with him. He will sit for hours, when not exacting vengeance against feet, and stare at him, not blinking, not moving. Hakkar doesn't mind, but will sometimes scare him off. Malphisto will only play nice with Itty Bitty, who batters him with her little tail and scolds him when she sees him hiding. Though she keeps him in line she does play with him.
