Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Despite the beauty and grace that comes with his breed, Zurenie, or Rage in his mother tongue, always seemed to be a terrifying dragon. He never knew his original parents nor their language, but instead belonged to a family of various breeds and dispositions. He felt like he belonged most with the thunder dragons and tried to adopt their ways. Unfortunately, that meant losing any tradition that came with his particular line. He adopted their language as his first language. The language was a harsh yet beautiful one, just like the thunder dragons that spoke it.

He came to appreciate the beauty and ferocity in the language. He took that appreciation and applied to to himself and how he saw the world. As he grew in body and mind, he came to share his knowledge with the hatchlings. He stressed finding beauty in everything. It didn't matter if that thing seemed ugly or cruel, there was beauty and good somewhere in it and it needed to be seen.
