Black Tea Dragons have small scent glands on the underside of their wing arm that release a pleasant scent. Though many creatures enjoy being in the vicinity of Black Tea dragons, the scent is intended to draw in swarms of butterflies. Though Black Tea dragons are full sized dragons, these insects are the mainstay of their diet.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Shadlok is loved by those around her, but she harbors dark knowledge.

Kept in a cavern that only she knows of is a dragon. She fed him poisoned meat to render him unconscious and took him back to a cavern where she chained him. She was told by Matchmaker Dimar that the mage warrior Hexadecimal was who she belonged with. Doubting he would fall in love with her naturally, she took matters into her own claws.

Despite her poorly judged actions, she has long since fallen in love with the Mage but despite her regrets in confining him, she is too terrified for herself and their children to let him go.

Now she rarely emerges from the cave, only if she is hunting meat for Hex. When she spends hours alone with him, she brings butterflies and creates living 'sculptures' from them, often depicting him. Or she will lie by him, her head on his claws as she looks in loving awe at his face.

Though she used to desire normality, this is now standard for her and she's accepted their unconventional love.
