Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Like most Magi dragons, Orange-kun has very powerful magic. However, his control of his powers is rather poor (especially when he becomes agitated), making him very self-conscious about the use of it. He rarely uses his magic for anything but hunting, and even then, he the unfortunate tendency of levelling whole forests in the pursuit of a single doe. His poor magic-control led to him becoming the laughing stock of Magi dragons, and his shyness did nothing to help this. Orange-kun soon became a recluse, avoiding contact with humans and dragons alike in fear of harming them with his magic when agitated (which he easily becomes due to his shyness). Fortunately he has found companionship in a friendly (but flashy) Horse dragon who dive-bombed him at one point, believing him to be prey.
