Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Carab is a duty bound master of flight dragon. He had flown for fights and causes he had believed in in his younger years. But now in days he happens to enjoy flight just simply for flight itself. He has been spotted flying high soaring over others and out of sight at times. Other times he has been known to fly in long slow circles. (Though at times he has been know to give himself a slight case of air sickness due to those over doing those circles.) For most part getting him to come down to rest is almost near impossible. Those that are close friends have found him high on cliff edges resting, yet perched to take off. Thankfully he has perfect balance (almost) So that he doesn't fall off when he dreams of flight. Yes, he pretty much flies himself off in sleep at times. Sleep flight has been always interesting to watch from anothers' point of view especially when it comes to watching Carab. More then one time Carab has woken in the middle of a sleep flight to correct his movement.
