Frilled Dragons are smaller than most other breeds, but when threatened, they stretch out their wings and frills to appear larger. They generally do not like to fight and prefer hiding to confrontation. Frilled dragons live in small groups and often band together to scare off potential threats. Males also use their frills as a way to attract mates, with those displaying the “best” frills being more likely to breed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Whispers of the word "Queen" follow Mabinogion. She wears no crown, but no other dragon of the great land compares to her. Long before she met her mate, she walked the green hills and soared through the bright sky, searching for any dragon of her like.  Dark green dragons, fiery red, dusty tan: she met them all, but none sheltered their babies under frills. Mabinogion learned many things, uncovered secrets, and earned wisdom, but she never found the one thing she sought.

.

Now, at the height of her beauty and grace, Mabinogion has found home and true love. In addition to her own children, Mabinogion welcomes any hatchling into her nursery. She cradles them gently as they sleep, humming quietly. Her favorite thing, though, is telling stories to the hatchlings. She offers stories of heroes, battles, and love, keeping their heritage alive through her words.

.

When her own children leave the cave, though, she whispers a secret plea: "Find others like me—tell me I am not truly alone."
