When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Kenn Morven is a very somber and stern water dragon. Found in the cave by the DragonLady, who mistakenly took his egg in place of a rarer dragon, she considered abandoning him. However, when the time came to lay his egg down in the front of the cave in hopes of someone else taking him now that his mother wouldn't, the DragonLady felt guilt. It wasn't the poor little one's fault that it was a water dragon. So she took the egg back home and waited for him to hatch. When he did finally hatch his DragonLady favored him and made sure he never wanted for anything, probably out of guilt. She never told the hatchling of his near abandonment. No, the hatchling heard that from the other hatchling's talk. When he grew up into a fine strong male, he became very distant from his DragonLady. A few eggyears later, in an attempt to earn back the devotion he had showed the DragonLady in his youth, the DragonLady promised him never to abandon any egg and a young bride, the beautiful Saffron.
