Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Midnight Talker believes that it is most important to talk, to communicate. She knows that even the simple questions like "How are you feeling", "How's it going", "May I eat your baby" can make all the difference in someone's day. She'd love to gab away for hours on matters both serious and insignificant. It doesn't even matter if it's a proper conversation, or if it's completely one-sided—but it's just always such a thrill to get other sentient beings to talk with! She views it as a little wonder when she can make others open up about themselves, talk freely, especially if they didn't care for her at first. Her family has been trying since forever to get her to stop messing around with her food in such a cruel way. So far, there was little success.
