Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The ugly duckling, and whatnot, and the reject of the whole cave, heck, even of the whole mountain paradise he lives by. Depicted as a 'lame' and boring creature, due to his appearance being one of a normal dragon, a mostly stereotypical dragon, but mostly in appearance and that only. Shunned by even his family, which is rare all by itself, this single most lonely dragon is seen as a disgrace, even the cave master turning her back on him. No friends, no love, even for a dragon of the high hills, he is not seen as important, nor is he seen as an ally. This has never been subject to change, he is just the eternally forsaken dragon, and by comparisons of his dragon brethren, this is hard to come by, as even those hated, find love in their warm embraces.
