Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ani Don somewhat bullies his master to Gharefu's dismay. However she learned that it was a playful type of bullying and saw that this strange Vampire was also protective over their master. However the other dragons of the cave still dislike him since if not watched, since he has a nasty habit of successfully converting eggs to Vampires for his own personal coven.

He also is not as cold as the other Vampire in the cave. His hot headed personality and hot skin is the only reminder of his living parents, a Magma and a Red dragon. Ani Don also has another unusual fact... no one knows who converted him to a Vampire in the first place. His master decided that since both his parents were wild dragons that some unknown wild Vampire converted him. This does not bother him however, since he is a proud prince of darkness.
