Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Byodo is the kind of dragon that regards all life with equality. Human or dragon, good or evil, Byodo has no prejudice towards other living things. The only thing that upsets this light-hearted dragon is dishonesty. It hurts Byodo deeply when others lie to him. Tell this dragon the truth, though, and he will be loyal to you until he draws his last breath.

In this manner, Byodo, is one of the most trustworthy of all sentient beings. Even if he is having a bad day and does not wish to leave his cave, he will if someone asks him for his help. Never order this dragon, for he will leave. Ask this dragon kindly though, and he will not stop until he has fulfilled whatever request that has been made. That is just the way he is.
