Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Scarlet was found a few feet from the Dragon cave, her mother nowhere to be seen. The egg was so small, that it could hardly be seen and many a human had walked past it, and the wind had battered it so the poor dragon was forced into hatching early. She was so small she was wrapped in a silk handkerchief and taken home, and she loved the feel of lace so much it was incorporated into her name. Scarlet Lace now lives happily in a cave, caring for all of the gold and treasures her owner finds.

Moving on from her tragic past, she found her one and only and now enjoys time with little ones scampering around her.
