Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Carolina Angel possess a remarkably loving and affectionate personality. She approaches every dragon she meets and rubs against them lovingly, nuzzling them to make them feel wanted. Because of her desire to show every dragon in EG's Cave love, she often becomes lost in the forests or deserts. Sometimes, she cannot be found for weeks or even months. However, she always seems to return sooner or later.
