Paper Dragons are not truly living creatures. They are pieces of parchment enchanted by magic, and as such, are very vulnerable to fire. However, they behave almost like dragons. The only place where their behavior differs is breeding: paper dragons cannot breed.

Hylatty is not really a part of the Paper Angelkittens Army, because AngelKitty was not able to reach her in time in order to freeze her. She was created from an old copy of a serious story written by AngelKitty, and because of this (and the fact that she is an adult), she is therefore the calmest, most collected of all the papers. In a way, she has become a 'mother' to all the paper hatchlings, and taken it upon herself to keep them out of trouble. She often tries to bring sense into the hatchling's poorly-thought-out plans, but because she is an adult, the hatchlings tend to ignore her. Hylatty's most-often repeated phrase is "I told you so."
