Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

To say Stream is a stereotypical Skywing would be an understatement. HE NEVER LANDS. Ever. His owner is starting to think Stream sleeps while flying...which isn't to far from the truth.

If one could follow Stream for an entire day, they would first notice that yes, he does seem to fly endlessly, playing and hunting with the other airborne dragons when possible. Eventually, past midnight an observer might catch the hour that Stream does land to rest. Unlike the others, Stream does not go back to the communal cave system most of his owners dragons call home. When he does rest, it could be anywhere from floating on a large peaceful lake, to wrapped around a tall tree. In fact, about the only time Stream can be seen around the cave is in the early morning hours when he deposits a small number of catches for the young hatchlings to eat.
