Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sarah is a salt-of-the-earth dragoness. She cares more about dragons than about magic and she spends her days mostly doing ordinary stuff. Which isn't to say that she doesn't have power, just that she doesn't care about it very much.

Her best friends are surprisingly not other dragons—although they respect her—but the little folk living in the hills and mountains. Creatures of fairy so small that even humans, let alone dragons, hardly ever notice them. She was not only among the first dragons ever to achieve contact with them, but she went through the trouble of learning their language: a communication mostly based on swear words and cusses. Her abilities in that regard greatly impress the hatchlings and Pygmies, but some of the more delicate minds of the clan wish she would just stop it.
