Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Touritsu and Sakadashi are twins in all but blood; they're rarely seen apart, and seem to share a special bond between them. Their eggs hatched at exactly the same time, and the first thing they saw in the world was each other.

Touri is straightforward and a bit serious for a hatchling. She's often trying to help take care of the eggs, unless Dark's guarding them. In that case she'll watch them from a distance and hope they hatch soon! She's always willing to help Dash out when he gets into trouble, since she knows how much he hates lectures. Touri considers herself to be female, and says that if she gets wings and ends up being male in gender, she'll still consider herself female.
